Busy Day

I have been so busy today making embellishments for Valentines.

First of all I made some tags using my cricut expression and the Sweethearts Cartridge.

Here are some more of the embellishments with the Hearts border and Love, examples of the files I found at ScrappingTable.com aren't they lovely.

The heart with the couples head was from the Sweethearts Cartridge and embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder, can't remember the name at the moment.

EXPLODING

Making this exploding box for my Mum has made me realise just what an eventful year 2010 was. For a start there were massive birthdays Mum's 80th, my 60th and Allan's 65th WOW. We also travelled across Canada by train and had an absolutely fantastic journey meeting some wonderful people. Those were the happy times but there were also some hard and sad times.

I used my cricut machine to cut out the box and elements, card was from Cardcraft plus - wonderful colour selection and Bo bunny papers.

New Year Fresh Start

I know it is a little late to be wishing everybody a Happy New Year but as this is my first post of 2011
I think it is still appropriate so I hope everybody has a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

I have finally been able to start crafting again and hopefully the blog will be kept upto date. I have also started swapping again and taking part in challenges, the card below has been entered into the C.R.A.F.T. challenge which is for a card with moving componants.
Also for One Stop Craft Challenge which is for a male card.

For Christmas I was bought a great collection of Copic Ciao Markers and this is a card I made using them.
